Upper Division Schedule, Results, and Standings Page

On this page, you will find all schedule information, reported results, and up-to-date standings for the Upper Division of the BIRC 2014 Spring Softball season.

A few notes and reminders:

1.  It is the responsibility of the winning captain to report results (in the event the teams split the double-header, they can either determine who is reporting for both, or each report their victory).

2.  No results are official unless reported directly to Rabbi Steve Weisman (AskRabbiSteve@verizon.net [preferred] or 301.351.8978 [cell or text]) and entered here.

3.  If you find a discrepancy, please report it to Rabbi Steve immediately, otherwise the posted results will stand.

4.  As always, tied games will not be entered in the standings.

5.  For this spring season only, St. Matthew's "A" is on probation, therefore ineligible for the playoffs, and as a result, the outcomes of their games are not counted in the standings.

In addition, after a discussion with Commissioner Karl Stehmer, we have decided NOT to enter the week 1 results for Bowie City Church, while they were playing in the Upper Division, to the official standings.  Short story -- with the realignment after the reinstatement of St. Matthew's "A," Bowie City Church has moved to the lower division.  If those changes had been made prior to the games of 4/22, then Bowie Apostolic would have been playing St. Matthew's "A," and the results would not have counted in the standings.  Since no other Upper Division teams will have the chance to play Lower Division opponents, it did not seem fair to count the result in the standings.  In addition, if it did count, it would effectively give Bowie Apostolic 2 more games than other teams.

Below, you will find first the current updated standings, then the reported results (from most recent games and working back to the start of the season -- no entry means no report), and finally, the full updated schedule.
